Survey : AMsS, Lexington, Ky., 1788 Sept. 5.

Survey of two adjoining plots of land in or near Lexington, one purchased from Robert Patterson and the other from Abraham McConnell. Drawn on the detached address leaf of a letter to Filson with docket note "lands purchased of Dr. Slater." Filson studied medicine with John Slater of Lexington, and probably gave him these lands in payment. The note was apparently made by the next owner.
